After the first-time event made big waves in July of 2023, the Wisconsin Sand Sculpting Festival returns to Manitowoc for its second year. Red Arrow Park and Beach will once again host the popular three-day festival on July 19-21, 2024.

The Manitowoc Sunrise Rotary, Visit Manitowoc and The Sand Lovers will continue to partner for the second year of this event. All proceeds will go back to Manitowoc Sunrise Rotary to benefit Manitowoc community members, especially children, through their various initiatives.

“Our chapter is proud to provide such a unique, family-friendly event for our community members, one that also showcases our beautiful, sandy beachfront to visitors and financially supports our many community projects. For 2024, the Manitowoc Sunrise Rotary will be using festival profits to support mental health as well as childhood literacy and safety,” said Kathy Bernhart, Manitowoc Sunrise Rotary President. “We can’t wait to welcome everyone near and far back to Red Arrow Park and Beach next summer for round two!”

“Over 8,000 attendees visited the inaugural Wisconsin Sand Sculpting Festival this past summer, putting the spotlight on our destination,” said Courtney Hansen, Visit Manitowoc’s Director of Tourism. “The Visit Manitowoc team is already hard at work expanding our marketing efforts to attract even more visitors to experience this one-of-a-kind Wisconsin event and make an even larger economic impact on our community.”

In 2024, attendees will enjoy the artistic work of over ten impressive semi-professional sand sculptors from across the country, amateur sand sculpting competitions, sand sculpting lessons, food and drink, vendors, and live music. New event features are in the works for an even bigger and better festival.
