The City of Manitowoc has made the difficult decision to cancel the Lakeshore Holiday Parade scheduled for Wednesday, December 10, due to a winter storm forecasted to begin overnight. There will be no makeup date this season. City crews will be focused on storm cleanup throughout the day, and uncertainty about the storm’s severity makes it impossible to ensure downtown can be prepared safely for the event.

Parade participants will be asked to share photos of their floats and Visit Manitowoc will share their photos on Facebook later this week. Prizes will still be awarded and announced to the public.
