Discover Manitowoc Grant

 

The City of Manitowoc’s Department of Tourism, City of Manitowoc Room Tax Commission and Visit Manitowoc Board offer the Discover Manitowoc Grant Program by providing funding assistance to bring events and projects to fruition and more visitors to events held in the City of Manitowoc through targeted and effective marketing strategies. 

If you have a great event or project in the City of Manitowoc that is well-organized, attracts overnight visitors to Manitowoc and could benefit from additional funding for marketing efforts, then you could be a good candidate for a grant.  All awards are contingent upon available funding, and there is a three-year funding limit maximum for projects/events. 

The 2026 application period is now open. All grant guidelines, review criteria and the application can be found here. All applications and supporting materials must be submitted via email to Courtney Hansen at chansen@manitowoc.org. Applications are due by February 15, 2026.
