Visit Manitowoc is the City of Manitowoc’s Department of Tourism dedicated to showcasing the Manitowoc community as a premier travel destination across Wisconsin, throughout the nation and beyond. Funded through room tax collected from lodging partners within the City of Manitowoc, Visit Manitowoc promotes the city through a wide range of strategic marketing and storytelling efforts designed to inspire visitors and support our vibrant tourism economy.
Because we operate without memberships or dues, we represent and uplift all businesses, attractions and events of tourism interest within the City of Manitowoc. Tourism plays a vital role in the Lakeshore area, generating millions of dollars in economic impact each year for our restaurants, shops, attractions, lodging properties and countless other local businesses.

Listings
If your business of tourism interest has a physical location within the city limits and holds regular open hours, you can be listed on our website at no cost! If you think you'd be a good candidate, please email your business name, contact information and photos to tourism@manitowoc.org.
Events
Are you hosting an event of tourism interest in Manitowoc? You can submit events to appear on our events calendar, which is one of the top pages on our website. If you have a recurring annual event, you can call 920-686-3508 to have your past listing reset with the new date and any updated information.
Share What's Happening
Add us to our mailing list! We love to see your photos and hear what's going on so we can work it into our social media and e-newsletter calendars. Feel free to send what's new and happening to tourism@manitowoc.org.
We will gladly display your event poster on our Visitor Center posting board. We also post major events on the board at Burger Boat Park. Brochures for attractions and hot spots can be displayed on the racks in our visitor centers as space allows. These items can be dropped off at 824 S 8th Street during business hours.
Visitor Guide
Manitowoc and Two Rivers create an annual joint visitor guide full of travel inspiration. Tourism Department staff fill the pages with editorial-style content about the area's businesses of tourism interest. Limited ad space for tourism partners is available late each summer. Discover Manitowoc Grant
Let us help you spread the word! Visit Manitowoc offers the Discover Manitowoc Grant, which opens to applicants early each year. This grant provides additional funding for marketing efforts to attract overnight guests to Manitowoc for events and projects in the City of Manitowoc.
