The Manitowoc Farmers Market is set to kick off its 2026 season this weekend on Saturday, May 2. The market will continue to be a fixture along the downtown riverfront in the Briess/Quay Street parking lot at 720 Quay Street (across form the Manitowoc Public Library) every Saturday from 8 am – 1 pm through the end of October.

The presenting sponsors of the 2026 Manitowoc Farmers Market will once again be Aurora Health Care and BayCare Clinic. Both Aurora Health Care and BayCare Clinic maintain a strong commitment to enhancing the health and wellness of Manitowoc and the surrounding lakeshore communities. Through their sponsorship, the Manitowoc Farmers Market is able to expand EBT, offering a Double Bonus Bucks program of up to $10 each week, helping to assure residents have access to fresh produce and other nutritious foods. Bank First and Xfinity will serve as entertainment sponsors, which will add more regular activities for market-goers of all ages. Community First Credit Union is sponsoring the Halloween market that will conclude the 2026 season on October 31.

In the winter, the market transitioned within the City of Manitowoc’s Community Development Department to the Department of Tourism, Visit Manitowoc. The Department rebranded the market as the Manitowoc Farmers Market, launched a new visual identity and implemented a marketing strategy aligned with their overall destination marketing efforts.

“We’re excited to kick off the 2026 market season, which will feature over 70 different vendors and food trucks offering fresh produce, prepared foods, Wisconsin specialties, and artisan crafts,” said Director of Tourism, Courtney Hansen. “Through expanded entertainment, activities, promotions and marketing efforts, our goal is to make the weekly market a true destination for Manitowoc residents and visitors alike – a place where they can purchase delicious, healthy foods, spend time with their families and enjoy our vibrant downtown.”

The market also welcomes Laci Kitzmann as the new Farmers Market Manager and Emma Frank as the Farmers Market Intern. Both Laci and Emma bring a passion for the market and Manitowoc community. They look forward to supporting the vendors and continuing to grow the Manitowoc Farmers Market.
