S.S. Badger Lake Michigan Car Ferry Season to Kick Off May 17

The S.S. Badger Lake Michigan Car Ferry will make its 2024 Maiden Voyage from Ludington, Michigan to Manitowoc, officially kicking off the sailing season, on Friday, May 17^th. The public is welcome to attend the celebratory event.

The 410-foot S.S. Badger will arrive in Manitowoc at noon and the community is invited to join hundreds in the festive welcome at the Car Ferry dock located at 900 S. Lakeview Drive. There will be special guests and entertainment, including alpacas from LondonDairy Alpacas. Event attendees will receive free S.S. Badger cups while supplies last.

The S.S. Badger will continue to operate daily from May 17^th through October 6^th. In addition to the sailings between Ludington and Manitowoc, there are three Manitowoc shoreline cruise dates scheduled along our lakefront – in the afternoon on Saturday June 15^th, July 20^th and August 17^th.
