Irish Pubs & Nightlife

Manitowoc is home to great bars and pubs to enjoy a pint with friends, including specifically Irish ones that are perfect for St. Patrick's Day. 

A popular bar & grill with an Irish theme, Shooter Malone's is a great pick for March. Sink your teeth into a corned beef or ham and cheese sandwich, or stick to American favorites like burgers, pizza, and chicken. Shooter's is open late at night and has pool tables and darts to make for a fun-filled evening. 

For St. Patrick's Day drinks at Manitowoc's oldest residence-turned-bar, head to the Stage Door Pub. This historic tavern features original cream-city brick, which creates the perfect cozy atmosphere for cocktails or a pint of Guinness. 

St. Patrick's Day Events

You don't need to just drink green beer or eat corned beef to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Consider attending one of these March events inspired by the lucky day! 

The Wharf Manitowoc is hosting their annual, two-day St. Patrick's Day Bash on Saturday, March 15 and Sunday, March 16. Each day will have green drink specials, corned beef and cabbage, and live music. Harbean, McHonzik & The Wenches play on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. and Jeff and Shed Acoustic play at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. Wear your best kilt and Celtic fashion to enter a contest to win a $50 Wharf gift card each day! 

Another popular event this time of year is The Haven's Shamrocks for Shelter St. Patrick's Day Celebration. This event takes place at Knox's Silver Valley on Saturday, March 15 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. This event is based around their Bean Bag Tournament, but there will also be plenty of live music, great food, raffles, silent auction items, and prizes. Teams must pre-register for the tournament, but spectators are welcome to come anytime!
